2009 - 2010 Wedding Photography Pricelist

Photography Core Packages

There are certain basic needs that every couple has for wedding photographs. Rather than offer a variety of packages I like to offer a-la-cart services so each couple can choose what they need. I have two core packages which are essentially distinguished by the scale of the event rather than the quality of what you get. Choose one, and then add other pieces if you would like to customize the photo coverage you want.

A 20% deposit is required to hold a specific date. 50% of the remailing balance is due no later than 30 days before the event (cashier's check or personal check). If the event is cancelled these deposits are non-refundable. On the day of the event the remainder of the fee is due cash or cashier's check before any photos are taken.

Package One - $1,000

  • 4 hours with one photographer.
  • Retouching on 20 photographs
  • Delivery of photographs on DVD as digital negatives and JPGs
  • Option for guests to crop and order prints online.

You can use the time any way you like but this generally includes:

  • Pre-ceremony pictures of the couple, wedding party, and parents.
  • Ceremony pictures
  • After ceremony; couple leaving, guests, impromptu group photos
  • Reception photos of guests, decorations, and food
  • Cake cutting
  • First dances (depending on timing of the event)
   

Package Two - $1,300

  • 6 hours with one photographer.
  • Retouching on 50 photographs
  • Delivery of photographs on DVD as digital negatives and JPGs
  • Option for guests to crop and order prints online.

You can use the time any way you like but this generally includes:

  • Pre-ceremony pictures of the couple, wedding party, and parents.
  • Getting-ready pictures and setup for the decorations.
  • Ceremony pictures
  • After ceremony; couple leaving, guests, impromptu group photos
  • Reception photos of guests, decorations, and food
  • Cake cutting
  • First dances (depending on timing of the event)
  • Games, garter dance, etc.
  • Table pictures of the couple posing with each table full of guests
   

Rehearsal - $200

If you require the photographer to be present at your rehearsal then you will need to add this to your package.

  • Travel to rehearsal location (travel up to one hour one way; extra charged for further distance)
  • 2 hours with one photographer
  • Photos of rehearsal and/or rehearsal dinner
   

Engagement Photos - $125

If you want engagement photographs, or photos to accompany your wedding invitations this package includes:

  • Travel to photo location (travel up to one hour; extra charged for further distance)
  • One hour with one photographer (not including travel time)
  • Either available light photos or lights (depending on what the location calls for)
  • Retouching for 1 photo
   

Per Hour Charge - $150 hr

Couples can extend the time needed for photographs at a rate of $150 an hour. But only if the photographer is not already booked for another event that same day.
   

Travel

Generally I am available anywhere within a one hour radius of zipcode 27302. But I am also available to photograph any event within a 3 hour radius of zipcode 27302 for an additional charge to cover the cost of gas.

Destination weddings or weddings involving flying distances will require reimbursement for or providing airfare to and from the event, as well as hotel accommodations and meals.
   

Prints / Wedding Albums

I offer competitive pricing on professional print services including gallery wraps and engraved wedding albums.
Couples may purchase prints after the wedding or at any future time.
I now offer online printing services available to the bride and groom or their guests.
   

** Prices are subject to change at any point. They reflect average conditions and situations and final quotes will be based on a conversation with the couple and determination of their specific needs. Prices may be adjusted upward depending on given circumstances.

** Prices are contingent on my ability to use images from the event to promote my work and in my portfolio. The prices will change if there is no ability to use the images for self-promotion.
