Architectural photography focusses more on a structure as subject of the photo. There may be people in it, but the main character is the man-made object in the image.

I've expanded my view of this range of photos to include certain types of landscaping which are more sculpural than botanical in their execution.

You'll also find here an expanding series of night photograpy. Which I'll be adding to as quickly as I can do safely. There may never be any Detroit photos for example. I think cities, and buildings take on a different character at night. I'll find myself drawn to parts of a city I would normally ignore in the daytime.

That being said, wandering around at night with expensive photography equipment, and needing to stand still for up to a minute at a time just to get an exposure... well even with a two pound ballhead at the end of my tripod for safety the urge to move along ASAP is pretty strong.
